Nominados a los Premios Eisner 2015

Premios Eisner

La Comic-Con Internacional de San Diego acaba de hacer pública la lista de nominados para los Premios de la Industria del Cómic Will Eisner 2015. Estos prestigiosos premios están considerados como los ‘Oscars’ del mundo del cómic, y se entregan precisamente en la celebración de la famosa Comic-Con. Este año en concreto, la ceremonia de entrega de premios tendrá lugar el viernes 10 de julio.

De la lista de candidatos que presentamos al final de la noticia, destacan especialmente cuatro títulos por tener mayor número de nominaciones. En primer lugar está Ms. Marvel que ha recibido cinco nominaciones: mejor serie nueva, mejor guionista (G. Willow Wilson), mejor dibujante/entintador (Adrian Alphona), y compartido con otras publicaciones, mejor portadista y mejor rotulista. Este título, que llegará muy pronto a nuestro país de la mano de Panini, ha sido uno de los últimos éxitos de la Casa de las Ideas, con la adolescente musulmana Kamala Khan asumiendo el papel de la famosa superheroína.

Con cuatro nominaciones se sitúa ‘El Multiverso‘, una de las grandes apuestas de DC que ECC está publicando ahora en España. La serie está nominada a mejor número único, mejor serie limitada, mejor dibujante/entintador (Frank Quitely) y mejor guionista (Grant Morrison).

La multipremiada serie de Image que publica Planeta Cómic, ‘Saga‘, vuelve a estar en la lista y se lleva nominaciones a mejor serie regular, mejor guionista (Brian K. Vaughan) y mejor dibujante/artista multimedia (Fiona Staples), curiosamente, los mismos premios que ya ganó el año pasado.

Por último tenemos a ‘Bandette‘, publicada en España por Aleta Ediciones y que ya fue ganadora de un Eisner en 2013. Este año opta a las categorías de mejor serie regular, mejor cómic digital/Webcomic y mejor dibujante/artista multimedia (Colleen Coover).

Premios Eisner Comic Con

En el apartado de españoles nominados, tenemos una buena presencia en los premios. Vuelve a estar nominado David Aja en mejor serie regular por ‘Hawkeye’ (‘Ojo de Halcón‘, publicada en España por Panini), la exitosa serie del dibujante junto con el guionista Matt Fraction.

Marcos Martin, otro dibujante veterano en los Eisner, opta a los premios a la mejor serie limitada y al mejor cómic digital gracias a ‘The Private Eye‘, obra de ciencia ficción con guión de Brian K. Vaughan que los propios autores publican y distribuyen de forma digital. Esta obra está disponible en inglés y español en la web Panel Syndicate, con un novedoso sistema de ‘paga lo que quieras’.

En la categoría de ‘Mejor publicación para pequeños lectores’ también aparece una ilustradora española, Meritxell Bosch, por su obra ‘BirdCatDog‘.

La publicación de humor de Sergio Aragonés ‘Groo vs Conan’, que Planeta ha anunciado entre sus novedades del 33 Salón del Cómic de Barcelona, también se lleva una nominación, y el propio Aragonés opta al premio al mejor guionista/dibujante.

Por su parte, el álbum ganador del Premio Nacional del Cómic 2014, ‘Blacksad: Amarillo‘ de Juan Díaz Canales y Juanjo Guarnido, compite en la categoría de mejor edición norteamericana de material internacional, y Guarnido además está nominado a mejor dibujante/artista multimedia.
